Sidewalk Paint

We had a short break from the heat wave so I decided it was time to try out the sidewalk paint that I have been seeing all over blogland. It was really easy to mix up and Jer had a lot of fun with it.

Grab a muffin tin and fill each cup with:
3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
2 Tablespoons Water
3 drops of Food Coloring

Stir well and start decorating your sidewalk or driveway!
Grab a cup or bowl full of water to rinse the brush when switching colors.

After about an hour, we lost all of our shade and it started heating up so we came inside. Jer wasn't done playing yet though so he decided to start blending the colors. He said that he was an evil scientist making potions. :)

  1. Finally, something healthy to make with cornstarch and food colors! Thanks! (My son is allergic to all things "corn" and we are trying not to eat artificial food.)
