As much as I love October and Halloween I am very happy that it is November! Last month was insane between cramming in Halloween projects that should have been done weeks before, a trip to visit family, doctors appointments, soccer games, the Halloween party, trick or treating, and ending with a sprained knee. I am hoping that November will be a bit calmer. :) Even though fall is my favorite season and I loved the pretty colored trees, I am actually looking forward to the first good snowfall of the season. When there is a layer of snow on the ground life slows down just a bit and everything seems more calm and peaceful.
Before we can move forward in November though, I would like to catch you up on October in case you missed anything!

Something I am really excited about for November is....
My Silhouette Cameo that just arrived today!!!!
I have been drooling over the Silhouette for probably a year and a half now. I entered every single giveaway that I could find and then pouted when I didn't win because I am mature like that. :) Then about a month ago my husband handed me a wad of cash and told me that he had sold some of his toys so that I could buy a Silhouette! Isn't he the greatest?! It was difficult for me to part with the money because of all of the medical bills that we have right now but I knew the only reason he sold that stuff was because he really wanted to get this for me and he knew that I would never buy one if it had to come out of the regular household budget. This will also be my Christmas present so that makes me feel slightly less guilty about the splurge. I am also hoping that this little baby will help further my craft shop and pay for itself in the end.
If you don't have your own craft cutter - don't worry. I know how much I hated seeing projects using the Silhouette when I didn't have one of my own. So whenever possible, I will include instructions on how to create the same projects without using a Silhouette! Now I am off to figure out how to use the darn thing...

Oh my gosh, how exciting and so very sweet of your hubby! I am still trying to figure out what those machines really do and what the difference is between a Silhouette and a Cricut, haha. Have fun!
