Edward Cullen's Ashes

I didn't have time to finish any of the big props like I had hoped.  So today's project is a quick and simple joke decoration.  Sorry to any Twilight fans out there...

I'm sorry but vampires can't go out in the sun because they will burn NOT because they freaking sparkle!  Alright, my little rant is over.  Even if you are a twilight fan, hopefully you will be able to see the humor in this one.  :)  The idea for this wasn't my own but I can't remember where the original was from.  I think a friend of mine shared a link on Facebook or something.

Anyway, since it is supposed to be a joke I intentionally kept it cheesy and didn't do any distressing to the label or bottle.  It is just an old spice jar, filled with glitter, with an 'Edward Cullen's Ashes' label printed out and taped to the bottle.  I'm not really sure where it is going to go because it doesn't really fit in with the rest of our decor but I thought it was hilarious and just couldn't resist making my own!

  13. Oh gosh, too funny. I do like Twilight but I can easily make fun of it. A friend of mine hates it though, so she would really enjoy this one.

  15. Oh! I lolled! Witty,, clever and fun (and yes, Vampires don't bleedin' sparkle!) Hubby's baby sister was a big Twihard, with a sense of humour. I might make her one of these.
