Monday was JerBear's first day of Kindergarten! Why does he have to grow up so fast?!
I know I already said this on Facebook but seriously - it's a good thing that we are homeschooling because I would have been in tears if I had to actually drop him off at school!
I don't know why this photo washed out when I uploaded it. Grr! Oh well, I'm too lazy to fix it right now.
After a few nice photos Jer couldn't resist acting like a goof. He is his father's son!
This is our desk setup right now. Some of you may remember from my posts here and here that the school room used to be upstairs. Well during the last room switch we moved the master bedroom into Jer's room, Shelby's office into the school room, Jeremy's room into Shelby's old office, and the school room is now on the main level in what used to be our bedroom. Right now while we finish up the basement it is also serving as my craft room and storage for all of the junk that needs to go on craigslist.
Once we are done with the basement, my crafty stuff will go back down and we are going to put a bed in here so it will be the school/guest room. An actual guest room with a real bed and everything!
What a cute kiddo :) Sounds like your house is busy rearranging and renovating like mine. I love that you are homeschooling. I taught for 5 years and this is my first year home with my 3 year old daughter whom I am doing preschool with & loving.
we seem to have quite a bit in common. so happy to have found your blog :)
he is such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteCan I have his hair?!? There was a hint of red in my last 2 kids' hair and then it disappeared. I ♥ red hair!
ReplyDeleteI'm diggin' the new look here lady!
