Snowball Candleholders

These snowball candle holders were really easy and I love how they turned out!

Start with basic candle holders from a craft store or dollar tree.

Use a paint brush to apply mod podge. Sprinkle on some Epsom salt (found in the first aid section) and allow to dry.
Brush on a second coat of mod podge and more Epsom salt.

The salt gives gives a little sparkle and enough coverage that battery operated tealights look like real flames.

  16. Can you use regular candles inside? You mention the battery operated tealights but I'm wondering if regular candles would be OK?
