Pinching Pennies Week One

Welcome to my first linky party! The rules are pretty simple:

1. Link to any post that has to do with saving money or making money. It could be an inexpensive recipe, craft or activity, tips for saving on bills, how to repair something instead of replacing it, etc. (This is a family-friendly site. Any offensive links will be deleted.)

My tip of the week is one you have probably heard of before but I figured I would start out easy. So here we go: get paid to search the internet with Swagbucks!

I make about $5 in Amazon gift cards every month just by surfing the internet. Sure $5/month isn't much but since it is something I was doing anyway, $5 is better than nothing at all! You can install their toolbar to get more points and make searching even easier. If you really get into it you can make even more money by referring people to the site, filling out surveys, and hunting for free codes. Also, if an amazon gift card isn't your thing, there are plenty of other prizes to chose from. Another one of my favorites is a gift card for Restaurant.com
