Pottery Barn Skull Print Knockoff

**My canvas prints are now for sale HERE**

I saw this skull canvas in the new Pottery Barn catalog and knew I had to have one! But $79?!?! Really? So instead of handing over all of that money, I came up with this:

I'm so happy with how it turned out! I made the print using the Coffee Fabric Dye and Printing on Fabric tutorials that I recently showed you, glued the top of the fabric to a dowel rod (which I also added a touch of the coffee dye to), and hung it with a piece of twine.

I had everyting on hand (including the skull image 'cause I'm weird like that) so it was free! You can find a similar skull along with other fun spooky prints here at The Graphics Fairy.

  6. I saw that in the catalog and couldn't believe the price either even though I really want it. Yours looks just as good as theirs! Spotted you at Little Birdie Secrets and I'm now a follower, not only because you won me over with this and your Nightmare Before Christmas party but also because I want you to reach 100 followers and have this awesome giveaway!

  8. Wow!
    Great Job!
I read through the coffee dye and printing links you gave. I was curious tho, does the spray adhesive leave the fabric sticky/tacky?
I think your version of the canvas is much better.

  21. Hey girl, I can't believe I haven't left you a message about this yet. I think the other day when you linked it up, I was getting ready too, and you know my kids got in the way, lol. This is SUPER cool, and I would also NEVER EVER EVER spend that much money, in fact not even a tenth of that for PB's one, and with your fabulous tutorial, oh man, THANK YOU. Just amazing, it turned out PRACTICALLY identical and perfect. I so appreciate you so much for participating in **6 weeks 2 Spook,** and linking this up along with more of your awesome projects. THANKS again. Bella :)
