That's right, I'm still working on presents for our three remaining Christmas get togethers! *sigh* I am getting a bit worn out from this extended holiday season. My son, however, thinks it's great!
Anyway, I don't mind giving gift cards on occasion but it can be difficult to make it seem thoughtful and personal. One of the best ways to do this is to be creative with the packaging and with regular credit card sized gift cards that isn't too difficult but iTunes cards are such an odd shape! So I kept putting off wrapping this one while I waited for inspiration to strike. I thought about making a protective iPod case to go with it but I didn't know what color and style she would like and, well, I put this one off for so long that I don't really have time to make one anyway. So this is what I came up with:
I know, not very original but I guess it is better than just wrapping it up on it's own. And this may sound mean-spirited but I'm kind of looking forward to watching her struggle to get it out of the case. *giggle*
As soon as we are done with the holidays it will finally be time to start some of the big decorating projects that have been put on the back burner for the last couple of months. I'm so excited!!
